I have always taken the task of writing my Christmas Wish List very seriously. As a young girl, I wished for so many things that were beyond my reach.  Now, even though I could buy my own gifts… what fun is there in that?  Even now, my list is always a mile long, but after hours of editing; it eventually gets narrowed down into something manageable.

Starting a wish list can be overwhelming, especially when trying to remember all the items you’ve been lusting over during the past few months. It’s a bit like Goldilocks and the Three Bears, finding items to include that are “just right.” Clothing is always at the top of my list, but unless you provide the specifics or put the item on hold, it can be challenging for loved ones to track down pieces that will work for your curves and suit your taste.  Along with clothing, I try to include some other items that are easy for family members to track down, that I will love almost as much as new clothes.

Your wish list can be a great place for you to indulge your whims and include items that are, simply put, “pretty”.  Practical gifts are great and useful, but don’t overlook pieces that make you happy. A special mug for your daily coffee, French truffles, sparkly shoes, or an ultra-feminine perfume are great, easy additions to your holiday wish list.

What are you including on your holiday wish list?
