Laughter, memories, friendship. Bring the vibe of a classic Girls Night Out home.
When browsing through a martini menu for the first time, Lolita was inspired by the recipes. After being served her first Cosmopolitan and watching each of her friends pick a different martini, Lolita’s creative flair took over and Lolita “Love My Martini” collection of hand-painted glasses was born. Since then, her collection has expanded to include wine glasses, beer glasses, hot beverage glasses.
Each glass has it’s own design. Inspired by moments in life and individual personalities, there is a Lolita design for every occasion.
One of the unique features of the Lolita line is that the bottom of each glass is printed with a recipe to enjoy. How fun is that?
You simply have to check out the miniature version of the Lolita line that are Christmas Ornaments for your tree. This truly is the perfect gift for that person who has everything.
Lolita can be found at Belle Maison in Walnut Grove, select Home Sense locations and The Beach Basket Giftware in Surrey & Walnut Grove.

The consensus here at Stimuli is that cleaning SUCKS! The worst part is trying to clean the glass shower door. Just spraying all those “high-powered” cleaners induces coughing fits which leads us to wonder how safe it really is.
Recently we were introduced to Norwex. They are a Norwegian company that set out to introduce the world to the possibility of “Clean without Chemicals.” The secret is in the cloth. Made from an environmentally friendly, micro-fibre material, the cloth contains an antibacterial silver-based agent which destroys the bacteria that it picks up in it’s fibres.
We were pretty sceptical of how water and a cloth gets grease off kitchen appliances, scum off shower doors and dirt off of the floor. Well, shock us it did. In a demonstration to simulate the grease you would find in your kitchen, Michele Partridge spread some butter on a window, wiped it with a damp micro-fibre cloth and then dried it with a dry cloth. Let us tell you, this window glistened and was completely streak free.
Get this. The cloths are actually guaranteed for two years but generally last longer than that. To clean them, you just throw them in your washing machine. Incredible.
Need a little extra cleaning help? Norwex also has a Home Essentials line of cleaning products that are chemical free. It is the natural enzymes in the product that actually will eat away the dirt and the disgusting dust mites that live in our pillows and mattresses.
Norwex is available through independent consultants in your area. No you don't have to have a home party to buy the product! Just visit the Norwex website or contact Michele Partridge at 604-831-5324.

Have you ever thought about where all that plastic cutlery goes after the picnic or birthday party? Our landfills are full of it.
Created and manufactured right here in British Columbia, Wun Cutlery (which stand for Wooden Utensils Naturally) is make from the wood that is “left-over” after an area is logged. The wood is held together with an edible glue and the “eating” half of the cutlery is laminated with a kosher confectioners glaze to remove any wood taste or smell. This cutlery is actually sugar coated!
This cutlery is designed to be a one-use product and the best way to dispose of it is to compost it. Wun is created from natural elements and turns back into natural elements. The icing on the cake is that Wun LOOKS good!
So, Stimulistas, the next time you are planning a party, pick up Wun Cultery and you can “Use it. Compost it. Feel good about it.”
Wun Cutlery is available at All Things Being Eco in Chilliwack, Choices Markets, London Drugs and Home Outfitters.
Self-expression through art forms can be very intimidating. Staring at a blank canvas, wondering how to start and being afraid to “ruin” it with a less-than-perfect outcome, will often deter a person from attempting anything.
During our day in The Uptown Gift Box Company’s CCMA gift lounge, we discovered the Buddha Board. It is based on the concept of living in the moment. We like it because it takes the fear out of art. You simply paint on the surface with water and your creation will come to life. Then, as the water slowly evaporates, you will be left with a clean slate — ready to express yourself again.
What we find so fascinating is that this seemingly simple, almost child-like “toy” appeals to adults on every level. Who can resist picking up a brush and doodling away?
The Buddha Board has an elegant, sophisticated style that fits in your home as décor. No need to hide it away in a closet. Display it on a table and take a moment every day to express yourself.
You can order the Buddha Board online for delivery to your home.
