Beautifully designed accessories, a socially conscious mindset and vegan friendly materials.
Those three components come together to create Samsara, the new line of handbags and wallets by Canadian label Matt & Nat.
Made with vegan friendly materials, Samsara designs are sophisticated but not stuffy, totally trendy and work with so many different fashion styles. Best of all, they are roomy enough to carry everything you need to go about your day. We absolutely love the Vaughan style that is a hybrid of the structured and hobo styles.
For every bag sold from this line, one dollar will be donated to a non-profit organization. That means that every bag you see on shelves across the country represents a one dollar donation at the end of the season. WOW! Talk about affecting change in the world.
Samsara is available at Love Those Shoes in Cloverdale and in Satchel Shops in Guildford and Willowbrook Shopping Centres.

The Stimuli consensus is that buying gifts for boys is much harder than for girls. It probably has something to do with the fact that we aren’t of the male persuasion. What’s cool? What’s fun? What are they going to like?
We came across the Marshmallow Blaster and had a gift-giving epiphany. The perfect gift for boys—and girls—everywhere. This plastic blaster looks like a water gun but the “ammo” is little marshmallows. No water, no paint, no mess!
Nephews, nieces, sons, daughters and god-children alike, will be blasting their friends and parents with marshmallows this year. Everyone duck!
We found the Marshmallow Blaster at Melange Distinctive Fashion & Gifts in Ocean Park. Click here to find their contact info.

Every Stimulista with a shoe fetish knows the pain of sore feet. Fabulous stilettos should come with a warning label. Oh the rubbing, oh the blisters!
Bandaid brand has created a Friction Block Stick. Marathon runners have been using something similar for years. It looks and works like a deodorant stick. All you do is apply it onto the areas of your foot that could be irritated by the rubbing and squishing that happens during your day and your skin is protected.
Go ahead, rub it on!
Bandaid Friction Block is available at most pharmacies and grocery stores.

Over the past few years, paying $200 or more for premium denim has become the norm. With so many great fitting brands out there, the choices are endless.
Denim was Gap’s mainstay, however, Executive Vice President Patrick Robinson felt that the traditional boot cut and straight leg fits were no longer meeting what the public was demanding from their denim.
Well, Gap is back and they are fighting hard to take back some of the market share they lost with the status brands. The launch of their Fall 2009 line called “1969 Premium Denim” includes styles such as the Always Skinny and the Sexy boot. These jeans feature “heavy-gauge thread and single-needle stitching,” and have “vintage-inspired busted side seams”.
We’ve been wearing the Perfect Boot in the medium wash and we absolutely love it. The fit is amazing and with just enough stretch, they held their shape during three wearing before we washed them.
Visit the Gap site and sign up for their email list because they send out weekly coupons. We got our 1969’s at 40% off with one of the email coupons!
