While we were out last week poking about some of our favourite shopping haunts, we stumbled on these adorable aprons. Yes, you read that right, aprons. Maybe it was our mood, but when we revisited these lovelies today, we are still enamoured with their sassiness. After dreaming up reasons to coordinate one of the creations with my outfit, we here in the Stimuli offices concluded that you could even rock one of these aprons as your sassy accessory while shopping at your favourite local farmers market. Talk about giving people a reason to stop and stare.
The Ruffle and Soul collection is the brain child of The Passionate Home owner and founder, Carrie Thachuk. When Carrie couldn’t find a Canadian made apron like the ones she had seen at some of the flea market farm shows in the United States, she drew up an idea of her own and created the line for her whimsical, Langley, BC store.
Made of cotton with Teflon fabric protection, these aprons are safe for practical kitchen use and can be cleaned up by simply throwing them into the washing machine. The aprons come in two styles and range in price from $24 to $49. If you aren’t sure about the apron, there are also canvas tote bags with the same Ruffle and Soul flair.

We know that it isn`t even the middle of April yet and that the hockey playoffs have only just begun, but with the little taste of sunshine last weekend we are completely preoccupied with rushing in the warmer weather for a little patio time!
It`s always fun to spruce up your patio décor with a few fun finds each season and we loved these bird themed garden lanterns.
