Rae arrived at LAPS with four young kittens. She had been living loose on a property in Langley for over a year. When the owner sold the property she was worried that the new residents wouldn't feed Rae, so she caught her and her kittens and brought them to LAPS.
At first Rae was very protective of her babies and didn't want anyone coming anywhere near her little family. She gradually became more comfortable with LAPS staff and looked forward to feeding time every day. As soon as her kittens were weaned, Rae warmed right up. Now she comes running to the door whenever she sees a visitor approaching. She follows her “guests” around the room, begging for for attention.
If you'd like to meet Rae, stop by the Langley Animal Protection Society today or call 604.857.5055.
