As Vancouver experiences the first rainy stretch of Fall, its time we come to accept that our good friend, Autumn is here. Now, as you groan and grudgingly put your Havianas back into the closet, let me give you something to look forward to…boots!

Boots are a staple item for fall and winter. Leather boots in particular are great as they not only look fantastic, but can stand up to the infinite puddles that accumulate on the West Coast. Although you may get away with wearing your summer shoes for another couple of weeks or so, there is no harm in snatching up a pair of this season’s hot styles before they’re gone.

Here are a few I have my eye on this season:

Aldo – KALFA, $180.00

Add a slight western feel to your step with these bushed leather, knee-high boots. With a comfortable mid-sized chunky heel and a rubber sole, these fabulous boots will look great with anything from denim to leggings.

Steve Madden – HANNAH, $179.95

Hailling all biker chics! Buckle up with these black knee high boots with straps that that wrap all the way up. With a short heel, these rockin’ boots will look great paired with a leather jacket and jeans, or leggings and a casual top.

Aldo – BURO, $180.00

Still just as hot for yet another season, these tall riding boots offer a low heel for maximum comfort and go with just about anything. How can you resist?

Spring – CAMBRA, $99.00

There is nothing quite better in a boot than a wedge heel—comfortable and height all wrapped up in one good looking boot. These above the knee styled boot also fold over into a Peter Pan style so you can multiple looks with one pair.
