Spring is finally here and nothing heralds the season like flowers. Some of the flowers available at the moment are brightly colored Tulips, cheerful Daffodils and fragrant Freesia. They are a feast for the senses and are the perfect cut flowers for any spring arrangement. Now that the weather is getting warmer and the birds are singing we want to bring the outdoors in! Whether you are entertaining and need a fabulous centerpiece or you just want to have flowers for your own enjoyment, you will get beautiful results with these easy, economical and stunning floral arrangements!
How pretty and easy is this arrangement? A vase, a bunch of tulips and two or three limes are all you need. Imagine how gorgeous this would look on a sunny breakfast table!
Here is another great idea; fill the bottom portion of a vase with apples, lemons or whatever you have on hand, stopping to accommodate the length of your flower stems.Once the flowers are in place you can continue to add the apples or other fruit until you have the desired look.
We’ve seen how beautiful the overall effect is when you fill a flower vase with either cut or whole fruit. What if you filled the vase with something more fun like candy? Don’t worry, you won’t have to waste a single jelly bean or lose a tulip before its time if you purchase some reusable water picks at the florist. Simply buy one of the cylindrical tubes for each of your stems and get instructions for use from the florist. The flowers get their water, you get to eat the candy and your arrangement looks spectacular. It does not get better than this!
