Trinity

Trinity had been living loose on a property in Langley for a year when the property owner was finally able to catch her and bring her to LAPS. She had obviously never had a home or family before and  was very frightened by life at the shelter. She was also pregnant and had no idea what to do with her kittens when they were born. LAPS staff had to clean and warm up her babies and then the whole little family went home with staff member, Gwen, so they could enjoy some peace and quiet.

Now Trinity has been spayed, her kittens have all been adopted and she's looking for a new home. Although she is very shy, Trinity is incredibly sweet. She enjoys attention from staff and familiar volunteers and is happy to rub up against them and purr up a storm. She absolutely loves other cats and would probably be happiest in a home with a feline brother or sister. Because she's so timid, Trinity is looking for a quiet home with no young children. If you think you can give this beautiful girl the life she deserves, please stop by LAPS today!

Clara

We can't believe that lovely, outgoing Clara hasn't been adopted yet! This wonderful girl has watched cat after cat get adopted while she is left behind at the shelter; we think it might be because she is on a hypoallergenic diet. But the person who looks past her special dietary needs is in for a real treat – this girl is as sweet as can be!

Clara and her three kittens were left in a crate outside a store. The store's staff assumed it was just an empty crate and no on realized that there was a little family huddled inside. Finally a customer looked in and saw Clara and her kittens. Clara is now spayed and looking for a new family. This two-year-old kitty loves attention and is great at enticing people into stopping to say hello. She loves having her ears scratched and will lean into your hand and purr up a storm.

If you would like to adopt this lovely girl, stop by the Langley Animal Protection Society and meet her today.

Dutchess

Duchess arrived at Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS) with three kittens in tow and pregnant again...or so we thought. She went to the vet for x-rays and instead of kittens the vet found that she was packed with feces. The poor girl also had a fractured pelvis and a dislocated hip.

The first order of business was getting Duchess comfortable, so she was immediately given painkillers and  put on a high-fibre diet to promote intestinal health. Next came the surgery – her hip was repaired and then Duchess went through weeks of cage rest so her hip and pelvis could heal.

Now, almost 9 weeks later, Duchess is healthy, happy and looking for a home. Despite all she's been through in her two short years, Duchess is a friendly, outgoing cat. If you have room in your life for Duchess, please stop by and meet her today.

Delightful Devon

Devon is an easygoing, friendly young cat who is happiest when he has a person to shower him with attention. He loves cuddling and nothing makes him happier than cozying up with that special someone and purring up a storm. Devon is currently living with a young kitten who climbs all over him and tries to hog all the attention and would be happy in a home with another cat. This sleek, handsome boy would be the ideal family pet and is waiting for someone to give him the home he deserves. If you think Devon is the guy for you, stop by Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS) today or call them at 604.857.5055/

Sweet Sophie

Sophie and her sister, Rosie, were found in the pallet shed at Britco Park. The two little girls were terrified out of their wits when they arrived at LAPS and immediately went into foster care with a staff member to help get them more comfortable around people.

Sophie is now spayed and back at the shelter, looking for a family of her own. She is currently living in our food prep room and is coming along in leaps and bounds. She now wanders around exploring the room, visiting with the dogs and  climbing the cat tree. Sophie is looking for a quiet home with someone who will take the time to really get to know her and give her a chance to shine. She would be great in a home with another cat or a dog.

If you have space in your life Sophie, please come to Langley Animal Protection Society and meet her today!
