Welcome to Movember, the month formerly known as November. We thought a little support for our Mo Bros and Mo Sistas might be in orders as we stare down 8 days of our favourite man’s facial hair. No, you haven’t woken up in the early 1980’s (cue Tom Selleck’s sexy ‘stash from Magnum P.I.) the Mo men are working on their moustaches in support of a Prostate cancer awareness and research.
Partnered through Prostate Cancer Canada, Movember is a worldwide initiative working to change the face of men’s health through public awareness, education, survivorship and research into prostate cancer. A movement that started in Melbourne, Australia, in 2010, the Movember in Canada raised $22.3 million in support of Prostate Cancer Canada.

Let’s face it guys; you aren’t the best at taking proactive steps when it comes to your health.  With Prostate cancer the number one diagnosed cancer among men in Canada, awareness, education and early detection are key. So support your Mo Bros with a donation or simply by telling them how great their new found facial hair is. Don’t worry ladies, come November 30th you can celebrate with a party – and shave it all off.
