If you ask most people what the leading cause of pre-mature death for women in Canada is, the answer would most likely be Breast Cancer. They would be wrong; it's Cardiovascular disease (heart disease and stroke).

Did you know that women can reduce their risk of heart disease and stroke by as much as 80% by making lifestyle changes? February is Heart Month and the Heart & Stroke Foundation has challenged Canadians to make ONE MILLION healthy actions toward making death wait by the end of the month.

There are several ways for you to get involved and take action: take the Risk Assessment, share the campaign on Facebook and Twitter to create awareness and make a donation towards funding research and prevention eduction.

I am addicted to Pinterest. I could spend hours searching through all the inspiring images and when I came across this great idea, I knew I had to share it with our readers.

We can't stress enough how important it is to have properly fitting clothing and the length of your pants is key. They MUST be the correct length for your legs and for the shoes you're wearing.
